Some of the most meaningful gifts we receive are those given in honor or memory of a loved one.

Memorial Gifts

Make a donation in memory of a loved one and to remember fondly those we have lost. We will send a personalized letter to a person you designate acknowledging your thoughtful gift (keeping the amount confidential).

Tribute Gift

An honor gift donation is a wonderful way to acknowledge someone who has inspired or helped you or life events such as a milestone birthday, anniversary or arrival of a new baby. This is a meaningful way to remember someone special. The Mercy Foundation will send a personalized letter to a person you designate acknowledging your thoughtful gift (keeping the amount confidential).

Planned Giving

Consider the following benefits you may expect to receive reducing your taxable income through a charitable deduction for the gift, avoiding or deferring capital-gains tax on gifts of long-term appreciated property. Please consult your financial advisor for an option that would most meet your needs.

Outright Gifts

Like all gifts, gifts that come to The Mercy Foundation can come in many forms and sizes. In addition to the more traditional forms of cash or check, we are able to accept gifts via credit card, arrange periodic automatic withdrawals from a checking or savings account.

Charitable IRA Rollovers

Contact your IRA administrator to take advantage of the IRA charitable rollover and make a direct gift.

Beneficiary Designations

Consider to defer a gift until after your lifetime, such as a gift in your wills and bequests, life insurance policies, to name a few. Make a greater impact than you could during your lifetime and realize possible income tax deductions.

Real Property

Remove an asset of real or personal property from your estate or corporate holdings. You may earn an income tax deduction, reduction or elimination of capital gains tax, and reduction in the size of your estate.

Income Producing

Another consideration to reduce your taxable estate is gifts of charitable lead trusts and charitable remainder trusts.

Our flexibility helps our donors help us! Let us know if we can be of help to you as you make plans for your legacy. Consult your personal tax adviser.
