The presence of loved ones can have a positive effect on patients and can aid in the healing process. We encourage family, healthcare agents, partners or other surrogates to visit and participate in decisions, treatment and daily care plans as determined by the patient.
Each patient has the right to determine who may and may not visit, including but not limited to a spouse, domestic partner, another family member, friend or surrogate. The hospital will not restrict, limit, or deny visitation privileges on the basis of age, race, ethnicity, language, national origin, socioeconomic status, mental or physical disability, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.
Visitors may enter the hospital through the Main Entrance from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Emergency Entrance is always open, however, visitors will need to press buzzer for entrance from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
12:30 to 2 p.m.
HUSH (Help Us Support Healing) is a daily designated “quiet time” on the inpatient nursing unit designed to promote healing and rest for our patients. We ask visitors to respect our quiet, healing environment.
Mercy Hospital is tobacco free both indoors and outdoors. Please refrain from smoking or using any tobacco products while inside the hospital or on hospital grounds, including parking lots. Electronic cigarettes are also prohibited. We appreciate your cooperation.
