Welcome to the Mercy Wellness Center!
Exercise is a key component of a healthy lifestyle and our goal is to help you reach your goal for personal wellness and fitness. We offer a number of great fitness opportunities to people of all skill levels that are available to both Fitness Center members and nonmembers.
The Fitness Center offers members a great way to improve or maintain their fitness level. Our spacious facility features a variety of cardio and strength equipment, a partitioned free weight area, large locker rooms, a bank of windows for natural light, wall-mounted televisions, and wireless audio capabilities.
Strength equipment includes:
- Free weights, including 5-120 lb dumbbells
- Cable pulley machine
- Knee raise, dip and pull-up station
- Squat rack
- Smith machine
- 12 additional strength machines
Cardio equipment includes:
- Cybex Arc Trainer ellipticals
- Octane Smartstride ellipticals
- Cybex upright bikes
- Octane X-Ride recumbent bikes
- Spin bikes
- Stair stepper
- Upper body cycle/ergometer
We offer a number of membership options for individuals, families and students. In addition, members also receive a discount on exercise classes.
Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
*Key card is required for entry when unstaffed. Be sure to check in by swiping key card at the front desk every time you use the fitness center.
Fitness reimbursement programs
Mercy Fitness Center participates in several fitness reimbursement programs. You may be eligible to receive up to a $20 reimbursement each month on dues paid for fitness center membership.
Mercy participates in fitness reimbursement programs from HealthPartners®, Medica, PreferredOne, UCARE, and PrimeWest. For eligibility requirements, consult your plan.
SilverSneakers®, Silver and Fit and RenewActive™
Mercy Fitness Center is a participating location for the SilverSneakers® program, Silver and Fit, and RenewActive™ by UnitedHealthcare.
The Mercy Foundation Community Gym
We offer a wide array of exercise classes for people of all skill levels in The Mercy Foundation Community Gym. These classes, from Boot Camp to Arthritis Exercise, are available to both Fitness Center members and nonmembers. Fitness Center members do receive a discount on exercise classes. Pre-registration is required.
Do you have pain or weakness in certain areas of the body? Whether you are new to exercises and want guidance starting on a new workout routine, or you just want to build more strength in certain areas of your body, Mercy’s Certified Personal Trainer can help you reach your goals. Taking the initiative to meet with our Personal Trainer can help you even perform daily living movements with ease. With a little hard work and dedication, we will work with you to reach new levels.
