Mercy Hospital has two casual day/afternoon/evening/nights, 8-hour rotating shifts, openings for a Housekeeping/ Janitor/ Laundry in the Environmental Services Department. These positions will perform a variety of janitorial duties and is responsible for floor care/maintenance, as well as cleaning and disinfecting hospital patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, halls, and other areas to keep the Hospital sanitary, clean, and odor free. Tends laundering machines to clean articles such as sheets, towels, medical cloths, wiping cloths, filter cloths, bags, sacks, personal clothes and uniforms.
Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to organize time and to work alone.
