Night Unit Secretary, Med/Surg
Mercy Hospital has an immediate opening for a part-time (.7) 8 hour night shift Medical Unit Secretary in its Med/Surg Department. This position will be responsible for interviewing patient or representative for billing information and entering into computer system, explain hospital visiting hours, parking, answering incoming calls and transferring to the appropriate area. Will also answer patient call lights and store patient valuables according to policy and procedures.
Qualifications: Certificate from a Medical Secretary Program or Office Management Program; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have computer skills, Meditech experience preferred. Ability to prioritize work independently. Must be able to work in a team setting. Employee is expected to have acceptable sustained attendance. Courtesy and tact (professional attitude) must be used at all times with customers, including co-workers.

ER, RN
Mercy Hospital’s ER/UC Department has an immediate casual, rotating, 12-hour shift opening for an ER RN. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN program and be licensed in MN. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP required, TNCC, EPNC and CALS desired. Two years ER experience preferred and computer skills required.
Flexibility is desirable, must be able to be included in a call schedule with a 30 minute response time.

Physical Therapist, Rehab
Mercy Hospital has an immediate opening for a Full Time Physical Therapist. Varied caseload including inpatient, outpatient, LTC, Home Care, contracted visits, and clinic work. Successful candidates must be able to multi-task within all areas of a rural hospital setting, highly organized and able to prioritize, detail oriented, able to work in a fast-paced progressive department, have basic computer, accounting, word processing, exceptional customer service and communication skills. Sign on Bonus and Relocation expenses offered.
Qualifications: Must have a BA/BS degree as a Physical Therapist from a four-Year College or university, Licensed in the state of Minnesota with the Medical Board of Examiners. New Grads are encouraged to apply.
